KB Kookmin Bank CEO Lee Hwan-ju says bank must move toward a better future through expansion and transformation

KB Kookmin Bank held its 2026 new year kickoff ceremony on Thursday morning at its Yeouido annex building. CEO Lee Hwan-ju set out two keywords for the year, “expansion” and “transformation.” He said the bank should strengthen its financial footprint while boldly changing how it thinks and acts in line with customer needs and social trends. He also outlined priorities including reinforcing trust and creating social value.

KT launches New Year roaming promotion offering up to 6GB extra data

KT said on Thursday it will run a roaming promotion for the winter vacation overseas travel season, offering extra data on its roaming plans through Feb. 28. The benefits apply automatically to all eligible subscribers. The company will add up to 6GB of data to Together Roaming plans and provide expanded options for its Y Together Roaming plan for customers aged 34 and under. KT will also boost China-Japan Budget Roaming benefits and expand Ansym Roaming coverage to 70 countries.

Okestro announces regular executive reshuffle

Okestro, an AI and cloud software company, carried out its 2026 regular executive appointments. The company announced promotions including 1 president and 3 directors. Park So-a, CEO of Okestro Cloud, was promoted to president. Okestro also made four representative director appointments, naming Kim Beom-jae and Kim Young-gwang as representative directors of Okestro while also holding affiliate CEO roles, and appointing Park So-a and Park Soo-hwan at Okestro Cloud.
