Amazon Web Services (AWS) will hold the AI and cloud conference AWS Summit Seoul 2026 on May 20-21 at COEX in Seoul.

AWS marks the 20th anniversary of entering the cloud market with the launch of Amazon S3 and the 10th anniversary of directly providing cloud infrastructure in South Korea with the opening of the Seoul region in 2016. It will look back on the past 20 years while presenting a vision for the next 20 years led by agentic AI.

AWS plans to let visitors experience AI solutions used at industrial sites through a special booth marking its 20th anniversary, an AI-focused AWS for Industries and a Physical AI lounge.

On the first day, Industry Day, AWS Korea country manager Ki-ho Ham (함기호) and AWS Chief Financial Officer John Felton will deliver a keynote on AWS strategies and cases that support customer innovation in the era of agentic AI. Jason Bennett (제이슨 베넷), AWS vice president for global startups, will then share an outlook on the future of AI innovation.

Upstage CEO Sung-hoon Kim (김성훈) and CJ Olive Young CTO Hwan Kim (김환) will also take the stage to share AWS-based business innovation cases and growth insights. In the afternoon, more than 50 business-focused breakout sessions will be held across 9 industry tracks including finance, retail, manufacturing, healthcare and media.

On the second day, AI Day, AWS technology leaders will look at next-generation AI developer experiences and cloud solutions. Keynotes will be delivered by Amazon Vice President and CTO Werner Vogels, Usman Khalid (우스만 칼리드), director of AWS serverless computing, Amorepacific executive director Jong-hoon Ahn (안종훈), Woowa Brothers AWS Hero Jae-hyun Shin (신재현), AWS Community Builder Min-tae Kim (김민태) and AWS Korea chief tech evangelist Seok-chan Yoon (윤석찬), offering insights. More than 50 technology sessions are scheduled for the afternoon.
