Samsung Electronics on April 28 launched a new 32-inch model of its glasses-free 3D display, Spatial Signage. The product applies Samsung’s proprietary 3D Plate technology to create depth without dedicated glasses. It adds a smaller lineup suitable for small product displays following an 85-inch model released earlier this year.

The new 32-inch model has FHD (1080x1920) resolution and a 9:16 aspect ratio. It is suited to 360-degree rotating videos that cover the front, sides and back of small products such as shoes and jewelry. That contrasts with the existing 85-inch model, which has 4K UHD (2160x3840) resolution and is used for large immersive content such as runway videos on a screen about 190 cm tall in portrait orientation.

The model is 49.4 mm thick and weighs 8.5 kg, making it lighter than a hologram box-type 3D display. It can be installed in narrow spaces or on store shelves. It supports both wall-mount and stand installation in compliance with Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) specifications. Samsung Electronics said it plans to expand the lineup to various sizes beyond the 85-inch and 32-inch models.

Spatial Signage won an Innovation Award in the Enterprise Technology category at CES 2026 and a silver award at the Edison Awards. Samsung Electronics also added new functions to its commercial display management solution, Samsung VXT (Samsung Visual eXperience Transformation), alongside the 32-inch launch. Samsung VXT is a platform that provides remote device management, real-time monitoring, and content creation and distribution functions.

A newly installed AI Studio app can produce video content for signage from a single photo. Selecting the “optimized for Spatial Signage” option can generate content with a sense of depth and upscale it to 4K resolution. Remote management functions were also strengthened. Added features include scheduling that automatically adjusts brightness, volume and power at desired times, and Smart Download, which lets screens on the same network share content once one screen completes a download.

Kim Hyung-jae (김형재), a vice president at Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, said the 32-inch Spatial Signage provides an immersive 3D experience even in spaces where it has been difficult to install large signage. He said the company will build an integrated digital signage ecosystem combining innovative display products and solutions to provide customers with optimal commercial display solutions.
