[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] API governance company Softfreak said on April 28 its system access control solution, i-SeMOS, obtained a security function verification certificate from the National Intelligence Service.

i-SeMOS integrates account management and password management functions, centered on system access control. Softfreak previously obtained a GS (Good Software) Grade 1 certification for i-SeMOS and also completed registration on the Public Procurement Service's digital service mall.

The company plans to use the certification to lower barriers to adoption by public institutions and accelerate expansion in the public market.

According to the company, in the private sector Lotte Group has selected i-SeMOS as its standard product for system access control and is applying it to major affiliates.

Softfreak CEO Dong-cheol Kim (김동철) said, "As information leaks by insiders and incidents of system misuse and abuse have recently increased, the importance of system access control and behavior management is growing." He said, "Obtaining this security function verification certificate is a meaningful achievement that officially recognizes i-SeMOS' security and reliability."
