VESSL AI, U.S.-based PADO AI to develop power-efficient AI orchestration technology

AI infrastructure company VESSL AI said on Tuesday it has signed a partnership with PADO AI, a U.S. data centre energy orchestration platform company. The companies plan to jointly develop a grid-aware MLOps solution that operates AI workloads by reflecting power grid and energy conditions in real time. The collaboration combines PADO AI’s energy intelligence with VESSL AI’s AI infrastructure orchestration technology.

NCSoft files second criminal complaint against Aion 2 illegal program users

NCSoft has launched a second legal response against users of illegal programs in Aion 2. On Jan. 20, it said it submitted a complaint to Seoul’s Gangnam Police Station against 7 users accused of repeatedly using unauthorized macro programs. The move follows a first criminal complaint filed on Dec. 12 against 5 users. NCSoft said the users disrupted normal service operations through account sales and distribution of in-game goods.

Eniai raises $4 million from KDB to speed U.S. push with AI cooking robot

Robot kitchen startup Eniai said on Tuesday it raised $4 million in a pre-Series A bridge investment from Korea Development Bank (KDB). The funding brings Eniai's cumulative investment to $19 million. The company plans to speed its push into the U.S. market. Eniai is accelerating commercialisation of its Alpha Grill cooking robot, with equipment installed at burger chain TFS and Korean ssam restaurant The SSam, and it is running pilot tests with a global fast-food company.
