Apple weighs flip-style foldable and eyes foldable iPad

Apple is considering expanding its foldable device lineup beyond its first book-style foldable iPhone to include a vertical flip-style model, according to NineToFiveMac, citing a Bloomberg newsletter by Mark Gurman. The flip model remains at an early review stage, with no confirmed launch timing. Gurman is optimistic the first foldable iPhone due in the second half will generate demand. Apple is also weighing an 18-inch-class foldable iPad, which could be delayed until after 2029.
