Samsung Electronics first ships HBM4E 12-layer samples to global customers

Samsung Electronics said on May 29 it had shipped the world’s first HBM4E 12-layer samples to global customers, months after the successful start of mass shipments of HBM4. It said HBM4E supports 14 Gbps per pin as standard and up to 16 Gbps, more than 20 percent faster than HBM4, and provides 3.6 terabytes per second of bandwidth per stack. The company said the 48 GB product offers higher capacity and improved energy efficiency and thermal resistance.

Upbit Data Lab releases technical analysis composite indicator

Dunamu, the operator of crypto exchange Upbit, has introduced a new “technical analysis composite indicator” on its Upbit Data Lab platform. The indicator combines 10 major technical measures, including RSI, Bollinger Bands and stochastic, into a single score from 0 to 100. Scores near 0 indicate a slump or oversold conditions, while scores near 100 suggest overheating or overbought conditions. It is calculated using the Upbit Composite Index covering all supported assets.

Hana Bank to hold children's nature-themed art contest with 1,000 won donation per entry

Hana Bank will hold the 34th Hana Bank Nature Love Children's Art Contest, a nationwide event that lets children express the value of nature and the environment through drawings. Preliminary submissions will be accepted through the contest website until Aug. 24, with images of the artwork and the child drawing required. The bank plans to pick 200 finalists in September for an offline final. It will also set aside 1,000 won per preliminary entry to support nature protection activities.
