KakaoPay Securities CEO says it aims to reach 20 million investors within three years

KakaoPay Securities set a goal of reaching 20 million investors within three years by rolling out an AI investment agent and leveraging Kakao affiliate platforms. It plans to launch a service for U.S. investors to invest in South Korean stocks in the first half of next year and is reviewing 24-hour trading through tokenisation. Toss, Toss Bank review stablecoin payment infrastructure with Circle

Toss and Toss Bank are reviewing a USDC-based payment and settlement model and the possible adoption of digital asset infrastructure in cooperation with global stablecoin issuer Circle. The companies said they signed a strategic agreement with Circle Internet Group to collaborate on blockchain-based payment infrastructure and stablecoin technology. They plan to explore linking Circle’s infrastructure with Toss and Toss Bank’s financial services ecosystem, within the bounds of relevant regulation.

U.S. used electric vehicle prices rise, holders gain and buyers face higher costs

Used electric vehicle prices in the United States are rising again this year. Recurrent calculated prices have climbed 5.1 percent since January, with vehicles priced below $20,000 up 9.4 percent from January to June. Several models posted gains, while used EVs above $40,000 continued to fall. The market is also seeing stronger sales, with second-quarter used EV volume exceeding 128,000 vehicles, and gasoline prices are cited as a factor supporting demand.
