Webzen Q2 operating profit down 8.4 percent, seeks rebound with new game releases in second half
Webzen said its second-quarter operating profit fell 8.4 percent from a year earlier to 5.7 billion won. Revenue declined 2.8 percent to 38.0 billion won and net profit fell 6.4 percent to 6.3 billion won. The company attributed the weaker results to a lack of new game launches.
