Hecto Healthcare\'s Desimone ranks No. 1 in 2026 Brand of the Year awards probiotics category

Hecto Healthcare said on Wednesday its probiotics brand Desimone was selected as the top brand in the probiotics category at the 2026 Brand of the Year awards. The awards are hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee, with consumers choosing representative brands each year. About 770,000 people took part in category voting via online and telephone surveys this year. The company said products made with the Desimone Formula are backed by 469 international papers and are sold in 40 countries.

Apple has not abandoned foldable Mac development; soft keyboard is key

Apple’s foldable Mac may remain a long-term project rather than being discontinued, an analysis said, citing the difficulty of matching a laptop-level keyboard experience when the screen is unfolded. The report said a dynamic hardware keyboard that changes layout by app is one proposed step, while the ultimate goal could be using the display itself as a keyboard. BASF subsidiary trinamiX sues Apple over alleged iPhone Face ID patent infringement

German chemical company BASF\'s subsidiary trinamiX has filed a lawsuit in the United States alleging Apple\'s Face ID facial recognition system infringes its patents. The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in Midland, covers seven U.S. patents related to technology that distinguishes skin and material properties during facial authentication. trinamiX seeks damages and an injunction, while Apple has not issued an official response.
