Hecto Healthcare is launching a new high-strength probiotic capsule product in the probiotics market. Hecto Healthcare said it will begin pre-sales of "Dsimone Capsule Premium" from Sept. 28 on its official online store under its premium probiotics brand Dsimone. The product guarantees 100 billion CFU of probiotics per capsule, and it is designed to be taken as 1 capsule a day, the company said. CFU, the unit used to measure bacterial count, refers to the number of bacteria that can survive and reproduce.

The product uses the multi-strain ingredient "DSF" developed by Claudio De Simone, a global probiotics researcher. The ingredient blends 8 probiotic strains, and 469 international papers, including SCI-level journals, have been published on it, according to the company. It holds patents in 15 countries and is sold in 40 countries including the United States and Europe.

In South Korea, it received individual recognition in 2009 from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for the functionality statement, "May help gut health by regulating intestinal immunity." The ministry's individual recognition system evaluates and approves the functionality of ingredients that are not listed in official notices.

Hecto Healthcare will use the launch to strengthen its direct-to-consumer strategy centered on its own online store. It plans to provide product information directly on the official store and expand purchase experiences available only through official channels, such as pre-sales and limited benefits, to broaden consumer touchpoints.

The pre-sale will be limited to 1,000 units, and discounts of up to 40 percent will apply during this period. The official launch date is Oct. 12. Pre-sale orders will also be shipped sequentially from the launch date. The new product will be available only through the Dsimone official store.
