Naver launches Safety weather service page, provides nationwide AI briefings

Naver has launched an always-on integrated page providing natural disaster information and weather alerts, it said on Thursday. The Naver Weather Safety page covers typhoons, heavy rain, heatwaves, heavy snow, cold waves and earthquakes, and automatically adjusts its display as situations develop. It features an AI-powered nationwide briefing summarising current conditions and showing risk in four levels, alongside detailed weather alerts and disaster text messages.

The company will run sharing campaigns in 10 regions through August, providing items such as large tumblers, water and summer supplies. It will also stock rest shelters nationwide and operate motorcycle service centers as cooling rest stops, while offering real-time safety guidance through its app during severe weather.
