KT to supply renewable power to Tokyo Electron Korea under PPA

KT will pursue a direct power purchase agreement (PPA) with Tokyo Electron Korea to support carbon neutrality. The companies held a signing ceremony on May 11 with key officials attending. KT will supply renewable energy to Tokyo Electron Korea’s major sites, starting in September. It will initially provide 15 megawatts and then expand the transaction to 50 MW, a capacity it said can cover the sites’ annual power demand.
