Dassault Systemes said on Aug. 18 it published its first Impact Report, covering results and progress from its sustainability strategy across its operations and customers during 2025.

The report focuses on quantitative outcomes generated by Dassault Systemes' internal and external activities to mitigate climate change, centred on footprint, handprint and human capital. It also highlights the role of virtual twins in the process of meeting decarbonisation goals.

It introduces various cases in which customers used virtual twins to design, test and optimise products, operating methods and business models for a Generative Economy.

It also includes how the company has improved environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance based on the sustainability goals and commitments it has set.

According to the report, a customer in consumer goods packaging used virtual twins to cut plastic use by 18 percent and increase the use of recycled materials by 76 percent. It also said 50.4 percent of Dassault Systemes suppliers established science-based greenhouse gas reduction targets.
