KT selects AI video creators to support young artists

KT said on Wednesday it has made final selections of 6 young creators in the AI video field through its Y Artist Label AI Video Contest and will begin full-scale activities. The Y Artist programme, run by KT\'s Y brand, has selected 46 young creators since 2021. This year KT expanded the programme to AI video. Winners received prize money and will join KT marketing projects, including collaborations with shared-growth programmes.

KT overhauls Genie TV All G to expand terrestrial and general programming VOD

KT said on Monday it has overhauled its Genie TV All G IPTV plan to expand access to terrestrial and general programming channel VOD. The renewed plan will launch on June 30 and costs 19,800 won per month under an internet-plus-IPTV bundle with a three-year contract. Subscribers will be able to watch the latest drama and entertainment VOD from major broadcasters right after airing, and view content on mobile devices.

KT applies AI ads to Volvo EX90 campaign, brand searches double

KT said on Tuesday it applied its AI and data-based advertising platform to Volvo’s electric EX90 launch campaign, lifting brand search volume and expanding test-drive sign-ups. The campaign linked KT Square, a large media wall in Gwanghwamun, with KT Genie TV’s Premium G package. KT said it offered a dedicated brand page on Genie TV with vehicle information and content, connected QR codes to test-drive applications, and ran targeted ads based on AI-driven data analysis.
