Team Naver proposes AI factory partnership in France, expands to industrial AI and content
Team Naver is expanding cooperation with French companies and institutions on AI infrastructure, industry-focused AI and content. Naver said CEO Choi Soo-yeon (최수연) and Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yoo-won (김유원) met French media, IT, energy, mobility and finance executives during President Lee Jae-myung’s France trip. It proposed jointly building an AI factory in Europe and outlined plans for sector-specific AI and content partnerships, including webtoons and an IP adaptation fund.

Korean brokerages step up tokenised securities business beyond fractional investing to bonds, funds
Korean brokerages are expanding tokenised securities businesses from account management for fractional investing to issuance infrastructure for bonds, funds and other financial products. The Financial Services Commission said it will pursue phased tokenisation of stocks, bonds and funds, starting in February 2027 with private money market funds, private corporate bonds, unlisted shares using trusts and publicly offered fractional investment securities. Firms are building joint platforms and proprietary systems, while overseas examples are also growing.

Com2uS opens first cohort of AI Campus with Sungkyunkwan University
Com2uS has begun training practical talent to apply AI to game development with Sungkyunkwan University. The company said it started the first cohort of its AI-based game client development expert programme, jointly hosted with the university’s industry-academia cooperation foundation. The 24-week offline course runs through Feb. 25 and covers C#, AI agent server building and reinforcement learning. Participants complete projects, build three portfolios and receive mentoring and post-course job support.
