Com2uS has moved to train practical talent to apply AI to game development with Sungkyunkwan University.
Com2uS said on Thursday it has started the first cohort of the "AI-based Game Client Development Expert Training Programme" (AI Campus), which it co-hosts with the Sungkyunkwan University Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation.
Trainees began the course after an opening ceremony held on Aug. 25 at Sungkyunkwan University’s Pangyo Campus. The programme will run offline for 24 weeks through Feb. 25 next year.
The curriculum consists of practical training needed for AI-based game design, including C#, building AI agent servers and reinforcement learning for machine learning agents.
Four current employees from Com2uS development departments will take part as dedicated mentors. Trainees will carry out individual and team projects with mentors’ feedback and produce three portfolios that can be used in the job search process. Copyright for the portfolios will belong to the trainees.
Com2uS will also provide one-on-one consulting after the course, supporting resume reviews and mock interviews. It plans to offer outstanding graduates opportunities linked to Com2uS recruitment.
