Oracle raises guidance after strong third-quarter results; cloud revenue jumps 44 percent

Atlassian shares fall on cloud growth slowdown worries despite strong results
Atlassian posted gains in both revenue and net profit in its second-quarter results, but its shares fell 4 percent on worries about slowing cloud growth, SiliconAngle reported. Quarterly revenue came to $1.586 billion and earnings were $1.22 a share, beating market forecasts. Customers generating more than $10,000 a year in cloud revenue rose to 55,369. Atlassian forecast quarterly revenue of $1.689 billion to $1.697 billion.

Alphabet shares slip despite Q4 sales, profit beat on capex outlook
Alphabet, Google’s parent, reported fourth-quarter revenue and net profit that exceeded expectations, with revenue rising 18 percent and net profit up 30 percent from a year earlier. Despite the results, its shares dipped slightly after it projected 2026 capital spending of $175 billion to $185 billion, nearly double 2025 levels. Google Cloud revenue beat analyst forecasts and rose 47 percent, while YouTube advertising missed estimates and traffic acquisition costs were higher than expected.
