TikTok U.S. unit seeks to secure 4 gigawatts of computing capacity by early 2030s

TikTok’s U.S. unit is pushing to secure multi-gigawatt computing capacity over the next several years, CNBC reported. People familiar with the talks said it wants 4 gigawatts of computing power by the early 2030s. TikTok said its U.S. service mainly runs on Oracle cloud infrastructure and Oracle will remain a key provider. Job postings and plans to retrain its recommendation algorithm on U.S. user data point to rising demand.

Musk says SpaceX raised $40 billion in debt to buy GPUs, warns neocloud shakeout

SpaceX has completed $40 billion in debt financing to buy graphics processing units for AI data centers, Elon Musk said. Musk said funding is becoming harder to secure, and he expects restructuring in the neocloud sector to accelerate. He said companies without substantial revenue outside AI data centers have effectively lost access to debt markets, and predicted consolidation and closures among more than 200 neocloud firms.

MegazoneCloud supports second MakersPub Game Jam, expands developer networking

MegazoneCloud said it supported the second MakersPub Game Jam, a game developer collaboration event hosted by game developer Mokum from Oct. 23 to 25 at the Megazone Industry-Academia-Research Center in Gwacheon. It provided development space as the venue and ran expert sessions to share technology and service operation know-how needed by game developers. It also introduced services including AI adoption support, membership-based security management and cost optimisation consulting.
