Trend AI integrated Nvidia open-weight AI model Nemotron into its security platform, Vision One Sovereign and Private Cloud (SPC), Techzine reported on Thursday.
The integration allows customers to run AI functions such as support for threat investigations and agent-based security information and event management (SIEM) entirely within environments they manage themselves.
Companies reluctant to send security data outside have had to choose between AI-driven security operations and data control, the report said. Trend AI aims to solve the problem through Vision One SPC.
Vision One SPC runs in private clouds, sovereign clouds and on-premises environments.
The design sends the model to the data, not the data to the model. Customers can decide where to run the model, which version to use and who can access it. It also eliminates the need for external inference services. The model runs on Nvidia hardware in customer data centres, sovereign clouds or environments with limited external connections.
Nemotron analyses security signals to identify complex threat patterns and attack paths. If an organisation sets policies, protective measures are carried out accordingly. It also supports security teams in investigating threats and setting response priorities.
Rachel Jin (레이철 진), Trend AI CEO, said, "Sovereignty goes beyond where data is stored," adding, "Companies must also control where the AI that handles their data runs and how it is managed."
