KB Kookmin Bank revamps KB Star Banking retirement pension services

KB Kookmin Bank has revamped its retirement pension services on its KB Star Banking app, improving the user flow from the home screen to product search, trading, inquiries and authentication. The bank changed the home screen to show recommended products and investment information at a glance and rearranged services around frequently used menus. It also made it easier to check trading status and execution details, enabled integrated viewing of transaction and redemption history, and added biometric authentication such as fingerprint and facial recognition.

Tesla may require driver identity check before enabling FSD, signs in latest iOS app code

Tesla may introduce a feature that verifies a driver’s identity using the in-cabin camera before enabling Full Self-Driving (FSD), according to signs found in its latest iOS app code. Decompiled code from app version 4.58.5 includes strings tied to identity-check failures and suggests FSD could be blocked with a notice shown in the smartphone app. It is not confirmed as a release feature and would also require vehicle firmware updates.

ITCEN Global ties up with BTQ on quantum security business

ITCEN Global said on Tuesday it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Nasdaq-listed quantum technology company BTQ Technologies to build post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum-safe security infrastructure. The two companies will jointly develop PQC, next-generation authentication technologies and quantum-safe security infrastructure and pursue commercialisation. Initial applications include financial networks, digital identity and biometric authentication, blockchain and Web3, public systems and enterprise IT infrastructure.
