KB Kookmin Bank\'s KB Kookmin Certificate users top 18 million
KB Kookmin Bank said cumulative users of its private authentication certificate, KB Kookmin Certificate, have surpassed 18 million. The bank said the user base has expanded since the certificate was recognised as an electronic signature certification service provider in 2021. Users rose by 1 million in a year, after topping 17 million in August last year. The certificate can be issued without visiting a branch and is used for authentication, e-signatures and identity verification.

Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhones in September: the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and an iPhone Ultra. A report said this fall’s lineup could focus on premium devices, including Apple’s first foldable iPhone, with no base model. The Pro models are expected to use an A20 Pro chip and feature camera upgrades and a smaller Dynamic Island. The Ultra is expected to be priced above $2,000.

Apple may unveil its first foldable iPhone this autumn under the name iPhone Ultra, with changes spanning design, hardware and software, a report said. The device is expected to use a book-style fold with a wider outer display and an inner screen closer to an iPad mini.
