SKT extends \'T Roaming\' data promotion until Dec. 31

SK Telecom is extending its overseas roaming data promotion through Dec. 31, citing expanded demand including a rise in subscribers choosing higher-capacity roaming plans and family roaming users topping 5.05 million. The company has offered up to 16 GB of extra data to customers on its baro roaming plans since April 23, with continued use available at up to 1 Mbps after data is exhausted. Additional perks include extra data for customers aged 34 or younger and discounts on certain plans.

KT to run digital signage ads at CU stores nationwide

KT said on Wednesday it has signed a retail media network business contract with BGF Networks and will operate digital signage advertising installed at about 3,000 CU stores nationwide by linking it to its in-house advertising platform, Baro Advertising. The platform supports ad search, subscription, execution and performance analysis. KT plans to improve advertiser convenience and strengthen execution and media operation efficiency while expanding cooperation with major retail channels.

KT launched Baro Ad 2.0 on Tuesday, upgrading its integrated advertising platform. The direct-sales service lets advertisers handle everything from planning to execution. Baro Ad 2.0 supports integrated operation of KT outdoor and IPTV advertising and partner media on a single platform, enabling campaigns across multiple channels at once. It discloses products, pricing and execution status in real time, reduces intermediaries, and offers data-based services and AI media recommendations.
