Airwallex raises $320 million in Series H to accelerate autonomous finance and agentic commerce products

Airwallex said on Thursday it raised $320 million in a Series H funding round, valuing the global payments and financial platform at $11 billion. The valuation marks a sharp rise from $8 billion in December 2025. Airwallex plans to use the funds to accelerate product development in autonomous finance and agentic commerce, expand infrastructure and regulatory foundations in new markets, and continue building a global organisation to lead development of next-generation AI-native financial software.

Visa says AI will reshape front end of e-commerce payments, stablecoins will change back end

Visa presented stablecoins and AI as key to global payments infrastructure at its annual payments forum, unveiling new strategies in settlement, tokenisation and AI. It is expanding stablecoin settlement pilots across regions, blockchains and currencies and said it has moved billions of dollars in stablecoins through VisaNet, with an annualised run rate of $7 billion as of March 2026. Visa also introduced tokenised deposits and tools for agentic commerce.

MoonPay launches crypto buying feature in ChatGPT

Crypto payments and trading infrastructure firm MoonPay has been officially launched in the ChatGPT app menu, allowing users to buy cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, ether, solana and USDC directly within ChatGPT. Users can search for MoonPay in the app menu, connect an account and proceed with purchases across more than 100 cryptocurrencies and over 30 blockchains. Payment methods include credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfers.
