Airwallex raises $320 million in Series H to accelerate autonomous finance and agentic commerce products

Airwallex, a global payments and financial platform company, said on Thursday it raised $320 million in a Series H funding round.

The funding round valued Airwallex at $11 billion. That is a sharp rise from $8 billion in December 2025.

With the new funding, Airwallex will accelerate product development in autonomous finance and agentic commerce. It also plans to expand infrastructure and regulatory foundations in new markets, and continue building a global organisation to lead development of next-generation AI-native financial software.

Jack Zhang (잭 장), Airwallex co-founder and CEO, said, "This is one of the most important turning points in the history of the global financial industry, and Airwallex is preparing for the future in step with these changes." He added, "Even 10 years ago, we could not predict how the agentic economy would unfold, but the licensing framework, country-by-country financial network connectivity, and payments and settlement infrastructure we have built over the past decade were a foundation prepared for this era." He said, "With this funding, we will move faster to advance autonomous finance, agentic commerce, and the core financial infrastructure that supports them, and open a new phase of growth."
