Sophos launches AI-native defense system Fusion

Sophos has launched Sophos Fusion, a security platform integrating security operations with protection for endpoints, networks, accounts, email and cloud. According to SiliconANGLE on July 15, the platform revamps Sophos Central, used by 625,000 organisations. Sophos said Fusion is an AI-native cyber defence system built on an open architecture and combined with the Taegis analytics engine acquired through last year’s Secureworks deal. New functions will be introduced in phases from August to October.

ITCEN PNS to expand AI security response business amid spread of AI-driven threats

ITCEN PNS said on Tuesday it will expand its AI security response business based on its AI Security Innovation Center to address new cyber threats in the frontier AI era. The company has built and operated the centre to verify AI security technologies and provide customer experiences, conducting solution tours, demonstrations and proof-of-concept talks with enterprise customers and partners. It plans to offer consulting-led services covering diagnosis, vulnerability analysis and response measures.

Initech unveils zero-trust security strategy for AI era, steps up response to N2SF

Initech said it presented a zero-trust response strategy for an era of AI-driven attacks at an event in Seoul. An executive said the spread of AI, cloud, SaaS, remote access and API-based work environments is making it harder to counter complex threats with perimeter-based security alone. The company introduced an identity-based zero-trust architecture centered on its ICAM platform, and said identity-based access controls linked to data importance could be key to implementing N2SF.
