[Digital Today reporter Jinju Hong] Apple has launched 7 new products, including Mac, iPhone and iPad models, simultaneously through Apple Stores worldwide and its online store.

NineToFiveMac, an IT media outlet, reported on March 11 that Apple is positioning the entry-level MacBook Neo as the key product in this lineup.

The MacBook Neo is an Apple silicon-based laptop designed to handle everyday tasks smoothly, including web browsing, streaming and photo editing. It uses a fanless design for completely silent operation and includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and dual microphones. Battery life is up to 16 hours, and it has a 13-inch Liquid Retina display. It comes in 4 colors: Blush, Indigo, Silver and Citrus. Pricing starts at $599.

Apple also unveiled the entry-level iPhone 17e. The iPhone 17e includes an Apple A19 chip and a 48-megapixel Fusion camera to enhance photo and video performance. It features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, and Ceramic Shield 2 technology improves scratch resistance by 3 times. It also supports MagSafe wireless charging and will be released in Black, White and Soft Pink. Storage starts at 256GB, and the price is $599, the same as the previous generation.

The laptop lineup has also been updated. The MacBook Air includes the Apple M5 chip, improving CPU and GPU performance, and supports artificial intelligence work and content creation. It will be released in 13-inch and 15-inch models, and base storage has been expanded to 512GB.

The high-performance MacBook Pro includes Apple M5 Pro and Apple M5 Max chips. With a new GPU and neural accelerator architecture, AI performance is improved by up to 4 times over the previous generation and up to 8 times compared with the M1 model. The product is offered in 14-inch and 16-inch models. Colors are Space Black and Silver. The M5 Pro comes with 1TB of storage as standard, while the M5 Max comes with 2TB.

In the tablet lineup, the iPad Air has been updated with the Apple M4 chip. CPU and GPU performance has been improved, and it supports iPadOS 26, Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard to boost productivity and creative use. It will be released in 2 sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch.

Apple also unveiled new monitor products. Studio Display is a display aimed at professional work environments, designed for advanced video work and content creation. The higher-end Studio Display XDR uses a 27-inch 5K Retina XDR panel and a miniLED backlight, and supports up to 2,000 nits of HDR brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also includes a 12-megapixel Center Stage camera, 3 studio-grade microphones, a 6-speaker sound system and Thunderbolt 5 connectivity.

Apple strengthened its overall hardware ecosystem, from entry-level products to professional equipment, through the latest lineup. The MacBook Neo, released at $599, is drawing attention as a product that significantly lowers the barrier to entry for Apple laptops.
