Digital security company Initech attended the 'N2SF & Zero Trust Insight 2026' event held at the Grace Hall of the EL Tower in Seoul's Yangjae district on June 25 and presented a zero-trust response strategy for an era of AI attacks.

Yoo Byung-jae (유병재), a director at Initech, explained at the event that as AI, cloud, SaaS, remote access and API-based work environments spread, it is becoming difficult to respond to complex security threats such as account takeovers, abuse of privileges, lateral movement within networks and data leaks with only existing perimeter-based security systems.

The company also introduced an identity-based zero-trust architecture centered on its ICAM (Identity, Credential & Access Management) platform.

ICAM is a core zero-trust control point that integrates management of users, endpoints, privileges, authentication, sessions and access policies, the company said, adding that it is also closely related to the data-centric security controls required by the National Network Security Framework (N2SF).

Initech said that in an N2SF transition environment, policies that apply differentiated access rights, scope of use, whether data can be taken out and log levels depending on data classifications such as classified, sensitive and public are important. It also stressed that identity-based access controls that link data importance with user privileges could be a key element in implementing N2SF.

Yoo said, "The transition to the national network security framework is not simply a relaxation of network separation, but a process of redesigning the security operating system around data and identity." He said, "In an environment where the use of AI and cloud is expanding, a zero-trust system that continuously verifies the status and behavior of all access entities is essential." Initech plans to expand its N2SF and zero-trust-based security business in sectors that require high security levels, such as the public sector, finance, defense and telecommunications, based on an ICAM platform, AI-PDP, SDP/ZTNA, and an integration structure linking XDR and CNAPP.
