[DigitalToday reporter Chi-kyu Hwang (황치규)] ITCEN PNS said on Tuesday it will fully expand its AI security response business, based on the AI Security Innovation Center, to address new cyber threats in the frontier AI era.
ITCEN PNS has built and operated the AI Security Innovation Center to verify AI security technologies and provide customer experiences. It has conducted AI security solution tours, demonstrations and proof-of-concept discussions for enterprise customers and partners. Through this, it confirmed demand for AI-based security diagnostics, vulnerability analysis and response consulting tailored to domestic customer environments, and decided to move ahead with the related business in earnest.
According to the company, the AI security model ITCEN PNS is pursuing is a consulting-led service that progresses from vulnerability analysis to results analysis, formulation of response measures and advancement of security operations. Going beyond simple solution supply, it comprehensively diagnoses customer applications, servers, cloud, networks, authentication systems, open-source components and externally exposed assets. It prioritises identifying areas with a high likelihood of exposure to AI-based attacks.
Based on vulnerability analysis and exposure assessments, ITCEN PNS plans to present customer-specific security investment priorities and customised response roadmaps. It will strengthen what it calls an "actionable security service" by combining global security technology capabilities with domestic security consulting experience. Rather than stopping at providing analysis reports, it plans to propose an integrated set of response measures that can be immediately applied in real operating environments, including security platform adoption, application of detection and blocking policies, XDR-based response, cloud and browser security, and building a zero-trust security system.
An ITCEN PNS official said, "As AI-based attacks become a reality, the security paradigm is shifting from 'responding after detection' to 'advance analysis and proactive measures.'" The official added, "Based on customer PoC experience accumulated through the AI Security Innovation Center and capabilities for collaboration on global technologies, we will support domestic companies so they can build strong security systems suited to the frontier AI era."
