AI-based security operations and analytics platform company Igloo Corporation said on March 26 that its hybrid extended detection and response (Hybrid XDR) platform SPiDER ExD obtained Grade 1 GS (Good Software) certification and a security function verification certificate from the National Intelligence Service at the same time.
SPiDER ExD is a core solution for implementing Igloo Corporation's Autonomous Security Operations Center (Autonomous SOC). In a hybrid environment spanning on-premises and cloud, it provides visibility into users, accounts and assets. It also carries out unified threat detection and analysis and automated response based on an integrated user interface (UI) structure.
Igloo Corporation said it will use the certifications to accelerate support for building the National and Public Institution National Network Security System (N2SF). It is building a "proof demo room" at its headquarters where visitors can experience an N2SF system suited to public cloud and next-generation infrastructure environments. It also plans to introduce an N2SF core requirements inspection system optimised for revised cyber security status assessment indicators. Through cooperation with key companies spanning the six core zero-trust pillars, it plans to continuously expand the scope of integrations.
Chief Executive Deuk-choon Lee (이득춘) said, "This certification for SPiDER ExD means Igloo Corporation's next-generation technological capabilities have met national security standards. Based on verified original technologies, we will fully support public-sector and corporate customers so they can build a safe and intelligent autonomous security operations centre."
