Pago Networks unveils AI-driven security operations strategy

Pago Networks, a security company, on Tuesday unveiled a Security Operations strategy to respond to changes in the security environment in the AI era and said it would also introduce three brands.

Pago held the PAGO Security Summit 2026 on Tuesday and shared changes AI is bringing to Security Operations, along with strategies and technology directions to respond.

The company said that as AI spreads, competitiveness in security operations is shifting from “how many threats are detected” to “how quickly and accurately risks are assessed and addressed.”

As a result, large-scale data analysis and repetitive tasks need to be automated with AI, while security professionals need to focus on judging threat context and real impact to set response priorities.

With that in mind, Pago said it has reorganised detection and response, threat hunting, detection engineering and offensive security capabilities around AI, and will provide them under three brands: PAGO DeepACT DEFENSE, PAGO DeepACT ATTACK and PAGO DeepACT Detection-Engineering.

PAGO DeepACT DEFENSE is a brand integrating the EDR, NDR, XDR, ITDR and AIDR-based MDR services Pago has provided. It offers advanced blue-team services by continuously detecting and analysing threats in customer environments through 24x7 monitoring.

PAGO DeepACT ATTACK formalises Pago Offensive Security services as a brand and provides advanced red-team services. It focuses on verifying whether identified risk factors could lead to real attacks, what attack paths exist and which risks should be addressed first, rather than simply checking the number of vulnerabilities found.

PAGO DeepACT Detection-Engineering is a Pago Security Operations module. It is a platform that automates core processes for threat hunting and detection engineering by combining frontier AI with global threat intelligence sources such as Google Threat Intelligence (GTI), SentinelLabs and CrowdStrike Falcon Intelligence.

The company explained that while PAGO DeepACT DEFENSE conducts 24x7 threat detection, analysis and response for customers from a defender’s perspective, PAGO DeepACT ATTACK proactively verifies real attack possibilities from an attacker’s perspective. It said PAGO DeepACT=Engineering actively identifies threats that existing detection systems may miss and converts them into new detection capabilities.

Young-mok Kwon (권영목), chief executive of Pago, said, “As the speed and scope of security operations rapidly expand with advances in AI, fundamental changes are being demanded in the way existing security operations centres (SOC) are run.” He said, “AI does not replace people; by having AI handle repetitive analysis and detection tasks, we aim to enable security professionals to assess real risks and focus on more important decision-making.”
