Apple AI smart glasses may debut at WWDC27, with camera possibly excluded
Apple is said to be preparing artificial intelligence smart glasses alongside new Apple Watch models. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman reported Apple is pushing to unveil the smart glasses at next year’s WWDC27, with a launch likely in late 2027. Privacy concerns linked to camera-equipped glasses are cited as a reason for delay. Apple is testing designs without a camera and considering on-device processing and other privacy features.

Apple to support latest iOS on iPhone 11, opening era of 7-year smartphone use
Apple will include the 2019 iPhone 11 in devices eligible for its latest iOS, drawing renewed attention to iPhone replacement cycles. Software support is seen as a key measure of usable life because operating system updates add features and provide security patches. The move suggests Apple is maintaining about seven years of support. It also raises expectations that newer models could receive updates through 2031, while possible price increases could influence upgrade timing.

Apple\'s everyday AI features could matter more than Siri
Apple unveiled its next-generation Siri AI at WWDC and applied AI widely to frequently used features such as Safari, Shortcuts, the Photos app, AirPods and parental controls. Some in the industry say these everyday AI additions could feel more useful to users than a conversational Siri. TechRadar on June 29 highlighted five smaller changes that drew attention, including automatic tab grouping, natural-language Shortcuts creation, improved photo editing, personalised equaliser settings and stronger child safety tools.
