MSIT holds 2026 K-Data Conference and Hackathon

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said it held the 2026 K-Data Conference and Hackathon from Sept. 9 to 11 at Hotel Susung in Daegu. The event included a hackathon and a conference with graduate student poster and research presentations, along with a job fair run with the Suseong District Office. A team from the University of Seoul won a ministerial prize in the hackathon, and a UNIST doctoral student received the same award for a research presentation.

Salesforce unveils Enterprise AI Harness, AI Control Plane

Salesforce has unveiled Enterprise AI Harness and an AI Control Plane to support building and managing AI agents, SiliconANGLE reported. The harness bundles technologies aimed at improving reliability and security and will roll out in phases, with some features already in Salesforce cloud services and others launching from the 2028 fiscal year starting next February. It includes data handling, quality controls, model routing and deterministic reliability controls, and easier app integration.

Why FDE teams should report to product, not sales

As tech companies expand forward deployed engineer (FDE) teams to target the enterprise AI market, audio AI company ElevenLabs stresses that FDE organisations should sit under product rather than sales. Co-founder and CEO Mati Staniszewski said FDEs must deeply understand the product roadmap, solve customer problems and expand the product in that direction. He said companies often miss the step of bringing expertise gained from integration work back into the product.
