Hancom said on Thursday it introduced its AI workforce platform, Nomadian, which it plans to unveil at year-end, to local institutional investors during U.S. corporate briefings held in New York and Chicago in October.

The company said CEO Kim Yeon-su (김연수) and CTO Jung Ji-hwan (정지환), among other executives, visited the two cities, held one-on-one meetings with local institutional investors and demonstrated Nomadian.

Nomadian forms AI teams by role, such as sales, marketing and research, and supports business owners in running their companies while leading those teams.

Nomadian runs on Hancom’s agentic OS, document solutions and orchestration grid, among other components.

A representative of a U.S. investment firm who watched the demonstration showed interest in Nomadian, Hancom said. The person said, “There is significant concern that AI will encroach on software, but the companies that deliver results are those that turn AI into actual products and generate revenue.” Some institutions said they intend to visit Hancom’s headquarters when they come to South Korea in December.

Hancom plans to use Nomadian to prioritise targeting small businesses with fewer than 10 employees and solo entrepreneurs in the U.S. market.

Hancom set as its first target 5.21 million solo and small businesses in the United States that already use AI or pay for it. It will begin a beta release in December, accelerate commercialisation and launch it formally next year.

Hancom will hold a press briefing called “Nomadian Day” at Hancom Tower next week and announce the results of the NDR, the status of Nomadian’s development and its U.S. expansion strategy.

Hancom CEO Kim said, “As a Korean company, bringing an innovative service to the global stage feels like a heavy responsibility.” He added, “We will prove with Nomadian that the technology and services we built work in the global market.”
