Ripple has unveiled a treasury management platform that allows companies to manage corporate funds 24 hours a day.

On Oct. 26 local time, blockchain media outlet U.Today reported that Ripple showcased an artificial intelligence-based corporate treasury management service at its Swell 2026 event.

The platform was developed under the leadership of Lenart Ferreke (레나트 페르에케), executive vice president of Ripple Treasury. It has been adopted by American Airlines as well as Subway and Christian Louboutin. The core aim is to change a structure in which corporate working capital was tied up during bank system downtime into one that allows continuous management.

Traditional corporate treasury management has had a limitation in which money transfers and management also stop when bank systems are down. Ripple presented a plan to reduce that gap through a proprietary neural network called GSmart. The system automates cash position forecasting, transaction reconciliation and payment-flow allocation, and is designed to connect analysis results directly to execution.

Ferreke said that as businesses run 24 hours a day, finance teams also need tools that can keep capital moving. He also said that as AI speeds up operations, existing treasury systems should match the pace of the market.

A key function of the service is 24/7 Returns. It automatically moves idle cash that sits unused on weekends or holidays into a digital wallet, converts it into Ripple's dollar stablecoin RLUSD and enables interest earnings. Treasury staff do not have to handle the complex processing of blockchain transactions themselves.

Market demand was also confirmed. An AFP liquidity survey showed that 46 percent of companies increased cash holdings over the past year, and 86 percent of professionals said they need real-time liquidity tools. Ripple presented an approach that ties AI, payments infrastructure and digital assets into a single system. Its strategy is to handle cash forecasting, transfers and management on a single infrastructure instead of integrating software from multiple vendors separately.

As the corporate payments area expands, the use of XRP Ledger (XRPL) could also increase, it said. Ripple believes that expanding a corporate-grade payments vertical integration would directly increase the utility load on the XRP Ledger network and also strengthen the foundation of its technology ecosystem.

The announcement aligns with a trend in which Ripple seeks to expand beyond its image as a payments company into corporate financial operations. In particular, it is an attempt to supplement the limitations of traditional corporate treasury management that depends on bank business hours with RLUSD and XRP Ledger-based infrastructure, raising expectations over whether adoption by companies will expand in the future.

Businesses operate 24/7. Corporate treasury needs to keep pace. Today, we're introducing new Ripple Treasury capabilities that connect AI, automation, and digital financial infrastructure to help finance teams manage and move money around the clock. https://t.co/f1sJMKyGpP
