South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said it will support domestic blockchain firms entering Europe by backing their participation in GITEX AI Europe 2026 in Berlin. Working with the Korea Internet & Security Agency and local governments including Busan and Daegu, it will run a Korea blockchain pavilion featuring 23 companies. The ministry also plans networking programmes with about 200 local investors and buyers and will support firms advancing in a startup IR competition.

Dunamu, which operates digital asset exchange Upbit, visited the Jincheon National Training Center to cheer national team athletes for Upbit Pizza Day, held annually on May 22. Dunamu provided a pizza truck along with pizza and drinks as an official partner of the Korean Sport and Olympic Committee. It also delivered financial basics booklets to help athletes improve asset management and financial literacy.
