[Digital Today, Reporter Lee Ho-jung] Com2uS is sponsoring South Korea’s national baseball team competing in an international tournament.
On Feb. 26, Com2uS said it signed an official partnership with Team Korea, South Korea’s national team set to play in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) 2026 Tokyo pool.
Marking its 20th anniversary this year, the 2026 WBC is an international baseball tournament where players representing their countries compete.
Com2uS plans to promote the competitiveness of South Korean baseball on the global stage together with the South Korean squad during the tournament. The team will play wearing helmets bearing the "Com2uS Pro Baseball" logo. As an official partner, Com2uS plans to support the squad’s journey through the tournament and boost pride in South Korean baseball.
Com2uS also released a campaign video titled "Baseball at its hottest because it is the most desperate," wishing for South Korea’s national team to do well.
The video sensibly captures the players’ endless challenge toward victory and moments of passion. In particular, Koo Ja-wook (구자욱) and Kim Do-young (김도영), models for Com2uS Pro Baseball, appear in person and vividly convey the squad’s distinctive fighting spirit and spirit of challenge.
Hong Ji-woong (홍지웅), head of production at Com2uS, said, "I find it very meaningful that, through this partnership, we will be able to provide broad support not only to professional and amateur baseball but also to the national team that will take the international stage." He said, "As a baseball game brand representing South Korea, we will continue to strive to contribute to the development and popularity of South Korean baseball."
