Digital asset exchange Upbit has joined efforts to support South Korea's national team, 'Team Korea (Team Korea)', competing at the '2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games' that open on Sept. 19.

Dunamu, which operates Upbit, said on Sept. 7 it attended the national team send-off ceremony held on Sept. 3 at the Jincheon national training center and encouraged athletes ahead of the Asian Games.

Upbit handed out support cards carrying six messages to national team athletes that day. Each card also included bitcoin worth 10,000 won. It also held a 'Pizza Day with the national team' event for athletes preparing for the Games.

An Upbit official said, "We are cheering for Team Korea athletes to do well at the Asian Games," and added, "Upbit will also support Team Korea in Upbit's own way."
