Asus unveils lightweight, easy e-bike conversion kit

Asus has unveiled a new conversion kit that turns a conventional bicycle into an electric bike, signalling a full-scale entry into the e-bike market. The company introduced its E250G1 Intelligent Bike Booster at the Taipei International Cycle Show. The friction-drive device transfers power to the rear wheel without chain connections and supports multiple wheel sizes. It includes a removable 159Wh battery, three ride modes, built-in rear light and an app.

Netflix expands into concert livestreams with BTS event, raising pressure on broadcasters

Netflix said it will livestream the BTS comeback concert from Seoul to more than 190 countries, its first live event sent worldwide from South Korea and its first music performance livestream. Executive Brandon Riegg said the event extends Netflix’s role from K-drama and film to K-pop. Netflix cited its track record of live events and large-scale production plans. South Korean broadcasters face shrinking ad revenue and regulatory limits, industry officials said.

Hike\'s 100 Studio joins production of Pokemon animation \'With Gardevoir Tomorrow Too\'

Hike said on Tuesday its animation production studio 100 Studio joined the production of \'With Gardevoir Tomorrow Too\' for Poketoon, an official Pokemon short animation series released on the franchise’s YouTube channel. The episode follows protagonist Yugo and partner Pokemon Gardevoir. The production linked 100 Studio bases in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, with South Korea’s 100 Studio SEOUL participating with multiple Korean animators and staff.
