NC is continuing for a 10th year its support for game startups taking part in G-Star.

NC said on Oct. 27 it will work with the Korea Internet Corporations Association to set up a "Startup With NC" booth in the G-Star 2026 B2C hall and support participation by Superjoy and GenieSoft.

NC has sponsored game startups’ participation in G-Star since 2017. Through last year, it provided a total of 51 rounds of support to 43 startups.

It has provided supported companies with independent booths in the B2B hall and exhibition passes. It also supported promotional opportunities such as business cooperation with industry officials and media interviews.

A survey by the Korea Internet Corporations Association of 17 NC-supported companies showed their 2025 sales were about 67.6 billion won, a 558 percent increase from about 10.3 billion won at the time they took part in G-Star.

Cumulative sales since participation stand at about 290.8 billion won. One company that had no sales in 2022, when it participated, recorded cumulative sales of 194.1 billion won through October this year.

Their workforce also grew to 448 from 163 at the time of participation, an increase of 285. The surveyed companies attracted cumulative investment of 19.3 billion won and signed contracts worth 15.7 billion won after taking part in G-Star.

Marking the 10th anniversary of its sponsorship this year, NC is expanding the support area to the B2C hall. It plans to support participating startups so they can showcase games directly to general visitors and check user reactions.

G-Star 2026 will be held at BEXCO in Busan from Nov. 19 to 22.

In addition to G-Star, NC is supporting startups’ participation in game events in South Korea and overseas, including the Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC), Indiecraft and the Taipei Game Show.

Jang Hyun-young (장현영), an executive director for external cooperation at NC, said, "This year, through participation in the B2C hall, we will expand points of contact where startups meet users, and we will continue support for the growth of the game ecosystem going forward."
