Baemin Bmart direct purchases of domestic farm products up 53 percent in Jan-May, to expand this year

Baemin’s quick commerce platform is expanding its role as a sales channel for regional farms, Woowa Brothers said. Sales of domestically sourced farm and livestock products bought directly from producing areas through Baemin Bmart rose 53 percent in January to May from a year earlier, outpacing last year’s full-year growth rate of 21 percent. Fruit sales led gains, with strong increases for strawberries, melons, watermelons and blueberries.

KB Kookmin Bank supports 800 grandparent-led households with \'KB Strong Kit\'

KB Kookmin Bank is providing food support to help stabilise meals for children in grandparent-led households. The bank said on Tuesday it has launched the \'KB Strong Kit\' food support programme to back healthy growth for children. The programme aims to ease nutritional imbalance and reduce concerns about missed meals. It targets 800 households raising grandchildren under 18 in seven non-capital regions, with kits delivered directly to homes.

Shinhan Bank builds financial partnership with Hoseo University

Shinhan Bank will act as a key financial partner for Hoseo University, providing financial services needed to run the school and strengthening tailored support for students and faculty. The bank said it signed a memorandum of understanding with the university on June 1 at Hoseo University\'s Asan campus in Asan, South Chungcheong Province. Under the agreement, the bank will also support issuing student IDs that double as debit cards.
