Lee Jae-myung says he will respect corporate judgment on expanding U.S. semiconductor plants

OpenAI unveils legal-focused GPT-6 \'Astra for Law\' with search across 230 million URLs

OpenAI has launched Astra for Law, an AI product tailored for legal work that combines GPT-6 Astra with legal search and analysis and drafting guidance. It includes a legal search index covering more than 230 million URLs and adds new materials daily, using CourtListener data via the Free Law Project for case law. OpenAI said the product scored 54 percent accuracy on a U.S. legal research test set, versus 38.7 percent for GPT-6 Astra using web search only.

SK hynix says nothing decided on U.S. memory production with Intel

SK hynix said on Sept. 16 that nothing has been decided regarding reports it is discussing producing memory chips in the United States with Intel. Reuters reported, citing multiple sources, that the two companies are negotiating and that SK hynix is considering leasing part of Intel’s Ohio site or forming a joint venture involving Intel and large cloud companies that are memory customers. SK hynix said it is reviewing various options to strengthen competitiveness.
