The company said on its official social media account it was grateful to everyone who joined the journey. The game sold 2 million copies on its first day and reached 3 million in four days before topping 4 million in 12 days. It maintains a \"Very Positive\" rating on Steam.

Pearl Abyss said on Sunday its new game Crimson Desert recorded 270,000 concurrent users on Steam. Steam user reviews shifted from “mostly positive” to “very positive” a week after launch, it said. The game currently ranks second among the most popular games on Steam and first among paid games. The company released a patch to improve controls and the user interface and cut loading times, while adding new content.
