Pearl Abyss on Jan. 30 released a new preview video for its upcoming game 'Crimson Desert' ahead of its launch. The video, titled 'Cliff and Pywel's Open World', features open-world content.
'Cliff and Pywel's Open World' is the first in a preview series and offers an early look at the world and key content in the open world, including the story, regions and exploration, and quests.
Players take on the role of protagonist Cliff and begin an adventure across the vast seamless open world of the Pywel continent. Players encounter 5 regions with different stories and backdrops: Cliff's homeland of Pailun, Ernand with abundant nature, Demenis as a political and military strategic point, Delesia where science and technology are advanced, and the lawless wasteland of Crimson Desert.
The story unfolds around Cliff, and players can meet 2 new characters that can be directly controlled. They can use each character's distinctive combat styles, skills and weapons to enjoy different exploration and combat experiences.
'Crimson Desert' is scheduled for a global release on March 20 (Korea time) on PC and console platforms. Pre-orders are under way on the official website.
