Pearl Abyss said on March 24 that its open-world action-adventure game "Crimson Desert" sold 3 million copies on global platforms in four days after its release.
The company said in an official social media post at 7 p.m. that it was sharing the news that 3 million copies had been sold worldwide. It thanked everyone who is making their own path on the continent of Pywel.
It added that it would do its best to ensure players can enjoy their journey in "Crimson Desert" while listening closely to users' voices.
After rolling out patches reflecting user feedback, "Crimson Desert" had a "mostly positive" rating from Steam users globally as of March 24, while it was rated "very positive" in Western markets.
"Crimson Desert" can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Apple Mac, Epic Games Store and ROG Xbox Ally platforms.
