Korea Post strengthens cooperation with major countries to revive EMS volumes
Korea’s Postal Service said it will strengthen cooperation with postal operators in major countries to help restore international express mail (EMS) volumes and improve service quality. It said the head of the Postal Service attended the 2026 Kahala Posts Group CEO meeting in Hangzhou, China, and discussed steps to improve EMS quality and revitalise services. It said EMS dispatch volumes among member countries fell 10.1 percent in 2025 from 2024.

Robot Taekwon V to mark 50th anniversary with commemorative stamps
South Korea will issue commemorative stamps marking the 50th anniversary of Robot Taekwon V. The Ministry of Science and ICT\'s postal service said it will release 700,000 stamps on July 29. Robot Taekwon V will also be used as the main character for the 2026 Korea Stamp Exhibition, held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul from July 29 to Aug. 2. The stamps feature major characters and various depictions of the robot.

Korea Post to hold stamp exhibition featuring Robot Taekwon V and Faker
The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Postal Service will hold the 2026 Korea Stamp Exhibition from July 29 to Aug. 2. The event, themed “Stamps, diving into the times,” will run at Dongdaemun Design Plaza’s Igansumun exhibition hall. It will feature a Robot Taekwon V commemorative stamp area and AI-convergence content. Korea Post will issue 700,000 stamps marking Robot Taekwon V’s 50th anniversary and preview stamps for Faker due in October.
