Perplexity opens \'Personal Computer\' to all Mac users
Perplexity has opened its local AI agent, \'Personal Computer\', to all Mac users, TechCrunch reported on May 7. The AI agent can access local files, applications, connectors and the web to handle multi-step workflows. The service was previously available via a waitlist for Perplexity Max subscribers when it was first unveiled last month. Personal Computer supports more than 400 connectors and processes data within Perplexity’s server security isolation environment.

Apple fans pick top 15 devices in Apple\'s 50-year history
Apple fans have unveiled a list of what they consider the 15 best products in the company\'s 50-year history. The ranking runs from the 1976 Apple I to the 2026 MacBook Neo. Tech outlet TechRadar compiled and published the list on March 29 local time. The selection includes early iMac models, iPods, Apple Watch, AirTag and several MacBooks and iPhones, with the first iPhone ranked No. 1.

MacBook Neo sells out two weeks after launch
Apple launched the MacBook Neo, M5 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and Max chips in March, and CEO Tim Cook said the number of new Mac buyers hit a record high, NineToFiveMac reported. The outlet said the MacBook Neo, priced at $599, drove the result. It reported the lineup is sold out online in North America, with some Apple Stores showing waits into mid-April, while deliveries at Amazon and Walmart are also delayed.
