Siemens says results matter more than AI adoption, unveils enterprise agentic system
Siemens Digital Industries Software said it aims to link companies’ AI use to real management results through a new platform, Intelligence Center X. At a Seoul briefing, Siemens said AI investment is surging but few firms see tangible returns. It cited survey findings showing a gap between perceived individual and organisational benefits. The platform connects data across systems and supports building, running and governing AI agents, with a semiconductor process demo shown.

Cl0p ransomware affiliate shows signs of exploiting PTC Windchill, FlexPLM flaw
Signs have been detected that an affiliate group of the Cl0p ransomware operation is seeking to exploit a critical remote code execution vulnerability in PTC’s product lifecycle management platforms Windchill and FlexPLM. The flaw, tracked as CVE-2026-12569, has a CVSS score of 9.3 and could allow attacks without login due to improper handling of unvalidated external data. A patch was released on June 17.

Dassault Systemes expands AI-native agentic 3DEXPERIENCE platform
Dassault Systemes said on July 27 that Centric PLM, provided by its subsidiary Centric Software, will offer virtual companions on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including AURA for program management, LEO for complex engineering and MARIE for deep science. The company also unveiled industry-specific Virtual Twin Factories. It said the tools interpret user intent, reason in an industrial context and support decisions. CEO Pascal Daloz said virtual twin factories combine virtual companions, generative experiences and Virtual Twin as a Service.
