Dassault Systemes said on July 27 that Centric PLM, provided by its subsidiary Centric Software, will offer virtual companions on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including AURA for program management, LEO for complex engineering and MARIE for deep science.

Dassault Systemes also unveiled industry-specific Virtual Twin Factories.

The company said AURA, LEO and MARIE, which have 19 capabilities, co-develop products, assets and services and solve complex industrial challenges through a way of creating and collaborating with users.

Based on systematised industrial knowledge and know-how, they interpret user intent, reason in an industrial context and make decisions to produce outputs grounded in scientific and industrial realities, carrying out practical work.

Pascal Daloz (파스칼 달로즈), CEO and chairman of Dassault Systemes, said, "Virtual twins have already become mission-critical technology across all industries, and now we want to present the future of Virtual Twin Factories." He added, "Virtual Twin Factories are a new concept of factory that combines Virtual Companions as workers that work on an equal footing with humans, Generative Experiences as highly automated processes, and Virtual Twin as a Service as a pre-defined industry world model."

The virtual companions run in AI factories built across 3 continents by OUTSCALE, Dassault Systemes' global cloud and AI business operator.
