[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Inorules, a company specialising in AI-based work automation, said on Jan. 26 it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with global company PTC Korea to automate work processes in the manufacturing industry.
The two companies will combine PTC’s manufacturing-focused platform with Inorules’ rules engine and AI solutions to automate decision-making processes at manufacturing sites.
PTC has provided solutions that support manufacturing processes, including its product lifecycle management (PLM) solution Windchill, as well as application lifecycle management (ALM), computer-aided design (CAD) and service lifecycle management (SLM). Inorules has supplied enterprise work automation solutions in finance, manufacturing and the public sector.
Through the cooperation, the companies plan to expand areas for optimising and automating decision-making at manufacturing sites and respond to the market with differentiated competitiveness by combining their technical capabilities.
Inorules CEO Jang In-su (장인수) said, "Manufacturing is a field where the effects of work automation through AI can be maximised." He added, "Through cooperation with PTC Korea, AI will automate policy-based decision-making at manufacturing sites, and we will do our best so that our customers can achieve tangible results of improved productivity and cost savings."
