Nexthrus raises 3.8 billion won from KT, LGU+ and Certik as strategic shareholders

Nexthrus is bringing in KT, LG Uplus and Certik as new shareholders, expanding its telecommunications and security partnerships into an equity relationship. The company disclosed it decided at a board meeting on Sept. 10 to carry out a third-party allocation paid-in capital increase targeting the three firms. It plans to issue 2,151,443 new shares, raising about 3.8 billion won. Payment is due on Sept. 18 and the shares will be locked up for 1 year.

Nexthrus says CertiK joins OneChain mainnet 2.0 validator set

Nexthrus said on Wednesday that global blockchain security firm CertiK has joined as a validator for OneChain mainnet 2.0. CertiK will build its own node infrastructure and take part in block production, transaction validation and network maintenance. The move expands cooperation from externally checking smart contracts and on-chain security to directly operating the network. OneChain mainnet 2.0 adopts a proof-of-stake authority model in which validators produce blocks.

Nexthrus launches Web3 SLG Frost Kingdom

Nexthrus on Thursday officially launched its strategy simulation game Frost Kingdom, which it publishes exclusively. The title is the company’s first to be published directly by Nexthrus and it positions itself as the world’s first Web3 SLG. The game will be released across OneStore, iOS, Android and PC. It will run as a domestic version for general users and a global version combining blockchain functions, including tokenomics and reward pools.
